Coming up soon is Raw Art Forum's next group exhibition - this will take place in July at The Birdwood House Galley in Totnes and will run fron July 1st - July 7th. This will be the second time that the group have shown their collaborative installation 'NUTOPIA', which had previously been shown at The Artizan Gallery in Torquay, where it was well received , causing much interest and discussion. RawArtForum artists will also be showing selected work from their individual practices alongside 'NUTOPIA'. The artists are looking forward to this, their second collaborative exhibition in Devon.

Raw Art Forum artist Aidan Cooper has had a piece selected and hung for the upcoming show at the Royal Academy in Bristol.
The RWA says of the show...."Drawn is an open submission drawing exhibition. It aims to raise the profile of drawing, exploring it as both an autonomous discipline and an interdisciplinary tool. The exhibition pushes the parameters of drawing by exploring the parallel language of multiple disciplines. Submissions are invited from artists who either draw, or explore the concept of drawing in their work, including: illustrators, videographers, sculptors, printers, embroiderers, typographers, animators and architects."
Latest News - Thelma Hulbert Open 2016 Honiton
Raw Art group member Steve Neill had a work accepted for the Thelma Hulbert 2016 Open exhibition. This is a biennial exhibition which is primarily open to artists from across the South West, and which aims to show a wide variety of work in all media. Steve's piece was a pastel on paper entitled "Queen of Nothing".
Basil Blackshaw a versatile, independent and wonderfully creative artist died recently.
He set us on our pathway.....more
We do hope he doesn't mind us pinching his idea for the bag on his head but we loved the sheer eccentricity he displayed.
